One of the most difficult things for a y

One of the most difficult things for a young kid to hear is “Don’t worry, in a few years this will not even matter”. Or “When you get older, you’ll appreciate the hard times because they make you strong”. It’s hard for some ADULTS to accept that reasoning. However, I am living proof that this advice is valid. Growing up, I was always that really dark skinned, skinny kid, that didn’t always fit the status quo. Today, by the Grace of God, I am a BEST SELLING author. I published the story of a life that, to some meant little and now to thousands, represent hope. Bottom line, never, ever let people convince you that you are not special, smart, attractive, destined for greatness. So, to all the young men and women who are bombarded by unsolicited predictions of inadequacy keep in mind: I was that young, skinny, too dark kid that didn’t always fit in. I proved the naysayers wrong, and so will you. #forward http://ow.ly/i/bEgJq
